I'm floating with water all around
Its just me and there's not a sound
I'm still waiting am I ever going to be found
The bubbles float right in front of my face
Suddenly I hear a sound and my heart begins to race
The shadow I just saw vanished without a trace
I begin to look around all this empty space
I swim this way and that
But yet why do I still feel trapped
I heard a loud snap followed by a sudden crack
A wave hits me like a slap
The fish seem to be running
And I see the glimpse of the shadow once more
And I realize that keeping up with him is becoming quite the chore
I'm hoping to understand what is going on and I finally find the shadow to be a great blue whale
He floats so close I am able to see every scale
He leaves of trail of fishes and swirls
It's so pretty the way the waves curl around them
I see all the different colors and scenes
And suddenly I hear laughter ad screams
I wake to find that I was merely in a dream
I sit and think about all the things I saw
And as I dose off my mind begins to wander
For all I can hear is my steady breathing
And as the fear slowly releases me
I finally feel like I know what I've been missing
And for once I'm finally able to see
I cuddle back up and go to a place where illusions become reality
Back to my dreams where everything is never as it seems
