Sweetie, if you're going to be two faced, at least make one of them pretty. - Marilyn Monroe

Alone like the moon
In the sky, even the stars are too far
Closed off like hard struck walls
Not letting the cold enter
As the seasons change
She hides away
Awaiting the day
When she can escape
Who is she?
I, myself, me
Letting blooming pain
Control me
Shoutout
To the hearts you've known
Shoutout
To the dreams you'll chase
The dreams that hold me back
I wish plant life would grow around me
So I won't feel dead
They can live for me, right?

"Be the change you wish to see in the world."

This was very interesting. I liked it and it had a nice flow to it. I don't like the word "shoutout." To me it gives off a different feeling than the overall poem. It disrupted me and shoutout isn't a word, shout-out and shout out is though. Also, when you end I wouldn't put "right?" I would just let it end with "me." Good job.
