School is the enforcement of manners,
School is the dark day,
School is the adolescent prison,
School is the stormy weather,
School is the lock and key,
School is school.
A pass time in the early morning,
A sleep replacement,
A job without pay,
A life without fun,
A time with no limit,
A play with no ending,
School is school.
You can try and hide from school.
You can try and act yourself out of school,
In one way or another,
Either way you'll return to school.
