A pencil gives you freedom
The ability to change
An opportunity to be someone you're not
The chance to erase and forget
A sense of peace.
Whereas pen is forever
Your words are permanent
Unchangeable mistakes
Imperishable vows
There's no going back.
Why did I put this pressure on myself?
Why did I make impractical commitments?
Why did I chain myself to my words?
Why did I set myself up to fail?
Why did I write in pen?
