Medleys of letters and syllables
Sentences that litter every muddled corner
"Thank you"? No, save that for later
I keep digging,
Burying myself in the mismatched responses
Words tumble around me and I'm swimming
Swimming in the awkwardness of it all
It was just here
Finally,
A peek of a letter that seems to fit
I try it out in my mind, the scene of this chaos
Yes, I've found it.
"Hi."
