To be or not to be That is the question.
-Shakespeare

Time is forever turning and revolving,
Like a machine with many cogs and gears,
It pass’s by us all by, like a blink of an eye,
The earth turns like a spinning basketball on the tip of your finger,
Caught up in the gravity of the world around us,
Forever we are ignorant,
Ignoring the beauty that encases the world,
Stars of different worlds shimmer in the distance,
Galaxies change colors and swirl in a fiery pattern,
Time is unwound and the fabric of the universe is torn,
Undone and broken time slips away, getting lost in in the,
Black void of the universe,
Binding itself to the darkness,
Yet the stars still burn and the galaxies glow,
Time is not forever lost,
Just temporarily gone, missing is the black void of the night sky,
A red pattern races across the sky and dances before the sun,
Blazing a trail for falling stars,
That land in the calming ocean surf,
Sitting on the beach I fall asleep,
And dream of reality.

"Don't punish yourself," she heard her say again, but there would be punishment and pain, and there would be happiness too. That was writing."
--Markus Zusak, "The Book Thief"

This poem has really vivid imagery and I like the metaphor of the basketball spinning. The play of words saying "caught up in the gravity of the world around us" is brilliant. I noticed a few misplaced commas here and there (for example: "getting lost in the, Black void of the universe") and at the beginning "pass's" should be "passes."
