Crying can have many forms and is often misinterpreted as being a sign of weakness.
Crying can be tears of elation, sadness, or heart brokenness.
Crying can be used in times of happiness, healing, or distress.
Crying is beautiful and from the heart.
Crying can be the voice of a newborn wailing to express words that are not yet known.
Crying can be warm and soft tears that gently stream down your face expressing a sense of brokenness or a releasing of brokenness which is healing and peace.
Crying can be a rage used to express anger, frustration, and hurt.
Crying can be droplets of liquid happiness gathering in the caresses of your eyes that trickle slowly expressing joyful moments.
Crying is weeping, mourning, sobbing, shedding.
Crying expresses life’s greatest pleasures and life’s heaviest burdens.
Crying is sacred.
Crying is a way for a human soul to convey its strongest emotions.
Crying is not a sign of weakness.
Crying is a prayer, a sign of being alive.


The author's comments:
I believe that crying is misinterpreted far too much and I wanted to convey a message of what I think crying really is.

Exellent poem. It really made me rethink the definition of crying... Overall, very beautiful.
