“If you're losing your soul and you know it, then you've still got a soul left to lose”
― Charles Bukowski

I was born with the fear
Of nothing
And I acquired reasons to tremble

If the world will end
In fire
Or ice

Kill me first, that’ll suffice

Because my pyrophobia makes the flames
Burn hotter
And cyrophobic chills freeze the blood in my veins
To absolute zero

I love God

But to please Him, I am hamartophobic
Which makes me devilishly

I hate feeling bound by the choices I make
Like a trick question or
A trap door

And merinthophobia is not unlike

If you think about how a void can be confining
In its vast emptiness

But despite being absolutely theophobic,
I think ocranophobia is a silly way of being afraid
Of righteous rejection

I wouldn’t let me past the Gates,

And I’m okay with pining after this volatile
If I’m sanctified
In the

Life has taught me that children
Have no place in suffering,
and anyways,
algophobia prevents me from ever
being a mother

and I’ve become hedonophobic about
everything worthwile

I am a self-proclaimed achluophobic, I always
Need a night-light;
So I stared at the sun, now I’m
And though I’m white like the moon
My skin still

I think I’ve always been
But when I learned to fly, somehow I morphed
Into an aeroacrophobic,

But gravity makes me want to soar high

Because barophobia is the yearning in me
For the sky,
And away from it all, where there’s no
Gravitational pull
Or gut-wrenching ozone-layer

I was lost in the stars and found

And my father, my dear
He taught me all about androphobia

That loving a man is like loving a rose
And being numb to
The thorns

So now I’m aphenphosmphobic,
And if you touch me I’ll

Despite what I just said, I’m desperately

I need someone to love me, but that scares me,
So I’m also
Unforgivably philophobic

Am I going insane, must I be so
Or contradict myself in so much as
One sentence

I’m agateophobic, so I wait for two

But if you medicated me and made
Me sane,
I’d just as soon say I’m
And everyone understands that—least of all

So I’ve decided I’m panophobic
Just for simplicity’s

I’m getting older,
Though it might not seem like it now

Living to die

And I’m heart-sickeningly gerascophobic
That frowns lines
Look like wrinkles the depth of
The Grand Canyon

Oh—the terror!
That clinophobia induces in me, maybe
That’s why I have

And yes, as time goes on
The tick tock of the cruel clock
Gives me

Will I recognize the end as death,
Or release?

I’m mnemophobic for my past
As it taught me
That bittersweet is hindsight bias
And you are just

But as petrifying as memories are, neophobic shivers
Run down my pale spine
When you mention

All is lost in the sands of time

And one thing is left,
When I’m reflecting on how I can’t know myself
Because I’m all people
In one:

That I’m catoptrophobic

And I’m only scared of
