Gabriel's Lamentation
Brown Hair Bloody,
Blue Eyes Shut.
The dead eyes of the sun
Looked upon the accident.
The boy, whose death knells
Were already ringing, met early fate.
The anger his mother once felt
Condensed into tears of sorrow.
The peacefulness of Rest,
The loveliness of Death.
The infected crimson colors
Covered his body,
His hospital mask and white shirt
Painted red with blood.
The leader of the iron monster
Stepped out with apologies.
But nothing could console his mother,
For her baby was crushed to death.
Brown Hair Bloody,
Blue Eyes Shut.
Floated down the river
With a single rose in hand,
And a kiss on his forehead
From a mother who never cared.
