Pathways
Pathways never meet
Say those wise and knowledgable men
But about the intersecting roads?
The roads that run so close together
That they appear to merge.
What happens then?
We know you seen it before,
You wise and knowledgable men,
Do these people meet?
Are they soul mates, soul sisters, what?
How can you say
Paths never meet,
If you learn to love someone
To enjoy their past
And believe in their future?
Doesn't that mean
That for at least a spilt second,
Those paths crossed
and intertwined themselves
To see if they would
Lead the same lives,
To see if love could blossom.
Paths cross though,
It may be to quick to see
And when they parted they
Ran parallel to each other
For the paths we cross
Know that we will never cross again.
