You can strain your neck looking at the sky until you can no more, only then may you walk among the stars.

Her smile, so sweet
The way she holds her head up high
And stands on her own two feet

Her laugh, simple but there
Bold stance, but a voice so shy
With a blue ribbon tied in her hair

They see her as happy, content
With a wall around her
Made of cement

No one can touch her
They say
They wouldn't dare
She laughs to herself
And her insides flare

Because inside those thick walls
Deep down in her core
Her confidence falls

Her smile has faded
Her head, hung low
Standing on her own, is long since belated

Her tounge is dried up
No laugh can come out
Even saying these words
Her mouth wants to erupt

No one can tell
At a first glance
The kind of hell
This girl has danced
