I want to talk and let you know
Stress is something that’s hard to let go
I’m stubborn and need encouragement
Like a kid riding a bike on their own
I’m also afraid of how it will go
Planning my moves
Making sure I don’t slip or fumble my words
Caught
I know you’ll catch me if I fall
Told to me like a broken record
That’s why I know you’ll understand
Taking a breath in to calm the nerves
I speak
And the feeling of hearing my emotions
Is like being released from chains
And I get to walk away free
