The Mask

When we awake we put on our masks.
These masks hide our who we are,
though we put it on as if we were asked.
But society will judge those who don’t wear it
they tear at those people,
bit by bit.
But the thing of the mask,
it will never fill that hole.
the one that is in your very own soul.
Don’t worry,
take off the mask,
throw it away.
Be yourself,
and take the darkness from your day.
Everyone’s beautiful,
everyone’s unique,
So be what you want,
and go where you seek.
