Love is a lie
She sat there listening. Just listening to a women she cared about tell her that she loves her. As she listened she could feel the tears well up in her eyes. She knew she was hearing lies because no one loves her. No matter how many times people tell her that they love her, it’s not true. Because the words “I love you” are as empty as her ex-boyfriend’s promise to always be there for her and that he will always love her.
