Sending a morse code,
tap-tap-tap
Down a milky river of gilded validity.
Give me an image,
what's really in the writhing folds of
your mind, and
what settles in the sour juice of your thoughts?
It's too late for a popping fireside
and sheepskin moccasins with smooth chocolates, as
I've seen you bare
shivering in the blue light
In the middle of an inky soup of asphalt
All the while, your constructs of sanity
shattering in sparkling fragments
over the glossy surface.

This is a simple nonetheless elegant poem with stunning imagery. Congratulations on the Editors' Choice.
