“If you’re going to be a writer, the first essential is just to write. Do not wait for an idea. Start writing something and the ideas will come. You have to turn the faucet on before the water starts to flow.” —Louis L’Amour

Falling
It may look as if you are stable
Leading life as if you ruled the balcony
Yet inside you die as you stumble
Into the pit of agony

The descent may be steady
Like a tree root sabotaging your path
Questions lead to abashing
Yet that leads to wrath

Rage causes you to plummet
Further into a pit of despair
Like a boulder you descend into the pit
Crying while caught in the snare

Do not let it catch you
Do not ponder unanswerable questions
Stay away from confusion
For it is a path with no directions
A fiery pit of seclusion

The author's comments:
This is the typical life of a teenager. So many questions, all of them never answered. This is a time of your life with so much confusion written all into one story.
