The sun may set on this day,
But when I look at you time is halted.
The sun may set in a strange way,
In my mind I hold you exalted.
The sun may set from this earth,
But the fire may never die from its refuge.
The sun may set and the world morphs into slumber,
Some are awake while others are dreaming aimlessly.
The sun may set,
But the burning smolder of love can never fade away.
