The Guile of Love

Being pushed to the brink of disaster is the only way to love life,
Love passionately and forever be happy.
But love for your own desires and you fall into a vortex,
Want that person like you want to take your next breath.
Search endlessly for that person that makes you change,
And if it takes a lifetime do not take one day off.
Go to the ends of the earth for that person,
Never loose grasp on reality with them.
Love is ruthless and cruel,
She wears a veil of lies and deceit.
It only takes one person to shatter you,
Or build you to your highest.
