The way I remember you
is through letters
stained with coffee,
its scent still
perfuming the paper.

The author's comments:
I met him at a coffee shop... and before we ever spoke a word to each other, he would slip a piece of paper every day (stained by his coffee) onto my table where I was sitting... and they always read "good morning, sunshine". Now... I all I have is his notes.
