The Baggage
She's rough around the edges.
Prone to jumping off of ledges.
Doesn't care what people think,
But still wants to be accepted.
Hurt in her eyes,
But got love in her heart.
She's been keeping it together,
Fighting to just fall apart.
She has trust issues.
Used to being misused.
They get new girlfriends,
She gets more tissues.
Looks in the mirror and blames herself.
There's something wrong with me,
If they always want someone else.
She gives her all
And ends up with nothing.
She can’t deal with having no one
She’s dealt with liars
Cheaters
Slick talkers
Dream sellers
Players
And two timers
So there’s nothing you can tell her
To convince her
That they're not all the same.
When the one she wants the most,
Never remembers her name.
She swears she’s never getting married;
She’s fine with being alone.
If her hearts going to break
It's going to be on its own.
She used to love without fear.
