I see them all walk by with smiles, happy to be free.
I hear them talk in many tongues. Can they understand me?
I smell their delicious foreign food, as flavorful as can be.
I listen to their true life stories, grateful to be free.

This is America. I wasn't really talking about personal experiences. I was more so speaking from the point of view of an immigrant from the 1900s. I just thought I would do something different with and write as someone else. :)
