Her Mask
Nobody knows It's empty,
the mask SHE wears unseen,
the face as happy as can be
is lost in the past of the love that was gave to HER,
the tarnish of HER ruby crown,
shined to perfection rests upon HER head
I am not sure of what to say,
I know it has broken HER down,
but for HER I will stand,
head held tall for no one on the outside to doubt Her strength.
HER love and devotion to HER children,
increasing by the day no matter what has been said.
SHE holds the strength,
I learn from,
the will I strive to have,
for SHE is no stranger to me,
but a Mother, as loving and caring as I hope to one day be,
