I Did It For You.
You
I did it for you.
I did it all for you.
You mean so much to me,
So I did it all for you. The pain that I feel,
Is nothing compared to the joy that I see on your face.
I did it all for you.
One day,
You will realize.
But that day isn’t today.
I’m crashing to the ground,
And all you see is a smile upon my face.
The despair is on the rise,
And I can’t find myself to be on solid ground.
How am I able to create wonders with words,
When those wonders can’t no longer help me escape.
I'm trapped in these crème caramel walls,
Waiting for the doors to unlock and knowing that I'm the only one that has the key.
Then when i feel that shining light upon my complexion i will know,
I will know its time for me to break down the walls
Let you back in
And re-introduce my self as me.
But till then i'm a prisoner to a greater power, me.
Until then i'll continue to please you with my gracing smile and pathetic humor,
Because I did it for you.
Guiding me towards the dark path ahead and seeing nothing but light,
While I feel pain, anger, humiliation at all the things I tried to do,
All the things I did for you.
