The memories of
You haunt me
They taunt me
Play with my emotions
I still feel the coldness
On my waist where
You'd wrap your arms
Around me
I feel the ghost of your lips on my cheek neck and lips
That lingering smell
Of you
How I wish we could go back
Back to when I
Was happy
And you and I
Were one
How I miss your
Brown eyes staring
Into mine searching for
Truth and love
Our hands clasped together
The sweet smiles we shared.
Its so hard
you are now
But a ghost
That leaves me crying alone and missing you at night ....

Wow. Not only have I felt like this before, but I feel like this now. My boyfriend and I broke up two weeks before summer vacation because it was my last year of high school and he still has two more years, so we just weren't going in the same direction. Reading this poem reminded me of why I still love him and that I still miss him. So thank you for posting this, it's really beautiful and very well written. Good job :)
