Lima, Peru and lima beans,
the warm flame of a candle
and the joy of a cold lemonade.

stick-shift driving, and hop-scotch,
hair braids and incense,
gooey butter cake and jingle bells,
beta fish and Van Gogh
always.
more than christmas.
more than summertime
more than snow day’s
to infinite and beyond
I’ll always love you,
just as much as I possibly can.
