Puzzled
Suddenly I see
the wondrous mortality of those around me
and which I believe
is certain to reign again.
The realization is everlasting,
the rapid growth of everything
is astounding in itself.
To see the sparkling daylight
and shadowy depth
of all living things...
Perhaps this is why we are prone to insanity.
The information is too much to bear-
Too much to keep to oneself,
it breaks down our minds,
reduced to jumbled facts
circulating consciousness
with immediate movement.
Perhaps this is why so many great minds
fall to pieces.
