The heat of your skin
soaks through your glove
Gentle yet fierce,
just like your love
My fingers aren't frozen,
safe in your hold
as you pull me deeper
into the cold
The white is blinding,
a whirlwind of snow
But your eyes sparkle more,
the actual show
Our feet crunch together,
the conversation true
And I hope you can see
How much I love you
By the way that your hand
is clasped so tight
I have a feeling that,
somehow,
you just might
