The shadows of the night sweep me in
Darkness fills my soul and so it begins
Goodbye world I used to know
Now I wait for the final blow
The devil looks a lot different from this view
It’s taken itself off of me and onto you
My heart was swallowed and spit out
And now its you it has to fight about
I am hopelessly gone at the bottom of it all
But you carry light, don’t let it fall
