I want to save
the sweet sticky juice trickling down my chin
from the bite of a refreshing watermelon.
I want to keep
the peaceful yet powerful rhythm
of the foaming salt water spilling onto land.
I want to capture
the beauty of the soft golden light
illuminating from the setting sun.
I want to hold
the endless lazy days
where the clock neither ticks nor tock.
Can I have
my warm sunny moments
where my smile never diminished,
my mind was free to wander
and the moment was always perfect?
