Sunrise, Sunset
Sun rays shine against my face.
The warmth blankets me
With comfort,
When I need it the most.
Whether I’m crying
Or laughing-
Screaming
Or smiling-
I step outside to the sun,
My sun.
And just for a moment,
All the chaos fades away.
But only for a second,
Does this feeling last.
Just like the sun rises,
It must always set.
Leaving me in the dark,
Alone,
And cold.
