Choices Not Chosen

Everyone has choices,
Some big,
Some Small.
They make or break people,
Form relationships and paths,
You say you’ll go back,
But you can’t.
Once a decision is made,
Or a choice is not chosen,
There is no going back.
I lay here and think,
What if?
As I drift away into a world of the unknown,
These are the choices not chosen.
