into a red cordial sunset
thick and bittersweet
like time

i’d get drunk but
we’d scare away the birds

Playful. And yet deep at the end. I feel the end contains almost some bitter remorse for not being able to do something because you don't want to offend someone else with your personal decisions. And don't I know that right now personally. As always, you're amazing.
