Sick Frogs
Black and gray roll in like a black and white movie
The world is sick.
Unavoidable chemicals soak into the frogs skin, making them woozy.
The environment is sick.
The sound crashing, nature and humans colliding.
The rainforests are sick.
Webbed toes latch on to their space, holding it tight, but sliding.
The ponds, lakes, water is sick.
Flies, bugs, food sources all gone in a hurry.
The trees are sick.
Defenseless against this burglary.
The animals are sick.
“Help!” they croak, shouting out to us.
The frogs of the rainforest are sick
Habitats are changing, our help is a must.
