I look out the window
Late at night
Rain hitting my window
Making a peaceful noise
Makes wonder what world is like for others
It's funny how opposite of a day two people can have
That peaceful rain hitting my window
Could be keeping someone up all night
The world works in odd ways
But there are days when everything goes right for people
And everything goes wrong for people
That peaceful rain hitting my window
Who knows what it is doing to someone else's window
