and the air felt so grey
and the cold so precise
[i never knew]
you smelled like my sickly sweet dreamings
of the sharpest pine
and fresh cigarette smoke
[oh, that night]
gasping and struggling
fast and hard i fell
[how heavenly your love could have been - i cannot even bear to contemplate]
