Their shoes
Talking soles
and tethered laces
Speak louder than their words

Their bookbags
snapped straps
Jammed zippers
to worn to hold pride

their free lunch
and lack of paper

their worn shirts
and off brand clothes

their parents dont make much

my parents make even less.
