I feel your heart rev and pound
An engine of desire
Your walls surround a deeper self
A steel cage painted cherry red
Every road is a back road to you
You never did like to be in the headlights
You take a side street at 90
Speeding, dancing like no one is watching
Stop lights as bright as your eyes
Change as fast as your highway of emotions
Slam the brakes before it turns into an emergency
Do you even know where you're driving anymore?
