Words to Sword
The color of snow
The shade of milk
The pigment of a cloud
The hue of purity
But also the color of despair
Emptiness
The horrid vision of a new page
Just as the author sits down to write
Blank
The mirror image of a mind in distress
They say a picture’s worth 1,000 words
But one word can say 1,000,000
They are the outlet of our expression
The interpretation of our thoughts
The brush with which we paint emotions
But for some
They are a hazard
A set-up for failure
A venus fly trap ready to snap up its next victim
Our words can be dangerous
Especially when written down
