The sky is falling.
I see some cracks up there.
I think someone’s stomping their foot a little too hard.
And they’d better stop,

Because I just dusted,
And if it falls on the roof of this mobile home,
Someone else is going to be PISSED OFF.
In case you didn’t get the message,
That someone is me.
I work too damn hard for this home to crumble
Under YOUR foot.
If anyone’s going to throw a tantrum,
It’s me.
And that would only happen if you DIDN’T STOP SCREAMING.
And you’re going to stop…
Right?
Because honestly,
It isn’t the house I’m worried about;
It’s the home.
And me.

My parents were having one of their arguments, so I decided that instead of blubbering, I'd write a spoken word poem about it. I like this form of coping much better; it involves less tissues.

This is interesting. I think I understand the message as well. The voice in this suits the theme as well.
