My best friend, tried and true
Hugs are better from your arms
Safe and sound, away from harms
I really shouldn’t
I know yocouldn't’t
Not the way I love you
Dear best friend, tried and true
Now my heart is cobalt blue
Sick and tired of loving you
As hard as I try
My heart can’t turn a blind eye
Oh best friend
I see our friendship coming to an end
I’ll pronounce my love
My heart you’ll dispose of...

That all the way
