Ethan
He had issues in school
The teachers decided
That he might have
ADHD
And possibly
Dyslexia,
Did you know
Most dyslexics
Start their own business?
Successful
CEO
Millionaire
Own man
His baseball team made it to state
Even for 7 year olds
That is impressive
He was first baseman
He got the most outs
In batting order he was usually 5th
But he doesn’t get to go
To state
With his team
To what he worked so hard for
At home he helped with chores
Though his room could never stay clean
An hour by himself
He could soil anything
Including his new church clothes
Which made it through one church service
Before getting a pizza stain
That shirt is still on the floor
I couldn’t clean it up
I haven’t even went into his room,
After the accident
I stare into his room
At all the clothes and empty chip bags
At the baseball and Pokémon cards
At his Star Wars bed spread
I stare into his room and relive
Him riding his bike
The car
And him
On the ground.
