Permanent Marker
I’d rather be a writer who scars the page with pen or permanent marker.
My words will forever mark the paper.
That way my mistakes can never be erased.
No one can pretend they were never there.
If I mess up all I can do is cross out the errors and continue writing.
Just like life the mistakes are NOT erasable.
They will stain the page just like our hearts and memories.
Writing in permanent marker would ruin a not-so-great writer.
But a great writer will remember and use those mistakes.
They’ll use them to make their stories that much better.
