From behind my mind’s eye
I do seek
These passions that drive to fury
These fires that once did flood
Through my fingertips and
Pulse in the void of my hands
Though from my desperate grip my
Muse has now appeared
Only in dreams
Sifting like sand and the
Tides that have never turned
Tides that are forever turned
And I will never again believe that I,
A hollowed muse,
Am any less than a thousand persons.
