essy muthoni
maybe she sees the inside of me
the inside of the heart that i hold within
maybe she will understand the meaning of love
she comprehend the definition of truthful desire
soon enough the light in her eyes will glow
shed its light on the truth that i have to offer
but not just yet until reality will be
so i will wait patiently in this dark loneliness around me
i will love at a distance and wait for the sun to rise
my hope will then be with serenity
by then she will be freed from her unbelief and doubt!
