My Streets
People talk about their streets
But let me tell you about my streets
My streets are black and bold
No sidewalks and cluttered with leaves
My streets contain "weed-heads", thugs, floozies and tricks
My Streets
Mark Danger With the bloods, the folks, and the crips
The gunshots and the pain
My streets take lives without gain
I may not live in what society calls "the hood"
but I know my streets are still no good
My streets reside here
known as the metro, better known as "Rivaside"
My streets take my friends away from me
My streets change them into a whole new person
My streets
Sometimes I fear to go out on my streets
My streets where I grew up
My hood
My Streets
