Sin before the white engulfs
Noon rising until with my sunshines
A little life before giving.
Serve the shots before retiring the glass,
François' football for a revolution or three
Don the velvet facade for the believers.
Wade through the pond
Resume with the slightest click
A blink back to the tended grass
From white to white, but flakes erased.
A duty more than a smile or a pour
My about face to reality.
