love for another
keeps me upright
I'll never hurt you
we'll never fight
I care to much
to watch you go
my love for you
I won't let it show
I'll wrap it up
and keep it in chains
I'll close this lock
won't let it untuck
because if you knew
you'd have to respond
won't let it be known
you may not love me too
besides you have him
and he makes you happy
I hope this rings true
and does not sound sappy
so next time you fall
and you start to cry
know that I love you
and for you I'd die
