Nothing is Less Impossible
He’s there
You can’t see him, his perfect, sun-touched, golden hair and tan skin, his pooling brown eyes
You can’t hear him, his deep, intense sexy laugh
You can’t smell him, his dense scent of cologne and freshness
The smell of real
But you can feel him
You can sense him
Your eyes deceive you
You cannot see what can only be felt
Your ears betray you
You cannot hear what can only be wanted
Your nose misleads you
You cannot smell what can only be remembered
The impossible
Does not become possible
When possibility of love enters your soul
And you are no longer alone
The impossible
Stays impossible
This is the moment
The moment of time
The one from your thoughts
And memories
And your greatest of dreams
Behind
Ahead
All around
Beside you
He speaks!
Call to me again
For you are to me
Like the moon is to the sun
Two realities that exist in such closeness to each other
Never-ending and unforgiving
Partners in crime
But shall never cross paths
But to do their duties by an unseen force
By which they shall never meet
But to work independently
I feel as though I know you
As though I have always known you
Could we have been the ones
Who grew up together as children?
Who laughed
And played
And couldn’t have cared less about the world?
No
That is not you
That is not actuality
For like the sun and the moon
We are two realities
Forces so strong
Yet unknown to each other
We’ve never talked
Never shook hands
Or given a tip of the hat
Our paths have never crossed
Am I hopeless to wish for a hello?
A simple greeting would meet my standards
Why are we not friends?
Why must we be such independent forces?
How can it hurt so much
Not to have you
When I don’t know what having you feels like?
I can’t determine anything
Nothing is certain
Except I want you
I need you
I love you
And nothing is less impossible
Than the passion that is created
The reality of the feeling
That could have only existed before in your mind
Nothing is less impossible than love
