The memories come and go.
The images of us holding hands.
How you always made me laugh.
The thought that stops me
Is the image of you and her.
Against the wall.
Your lips on hers.
That's the thought that stops it all.
It stops the nostalgic longing for us.
The wanting to see if we could still last.
We can't.
You cheated.
End of story.
It's the memory that stops me from wanting you.
