simplicity.
the voices surround me,
driving me insane with various
psychotic ideas for how to conduct my life
in the somewhat near future.
(heaven knows I can’t make those decisions on my own.)
other people will always have to control me
because I’m like a lost child,
devoid of any sense of direction
in this god forsaken place we call
the world.
I wish that things would just fall into place
like the 100 piece puzzles that entertained us on the days
where snow blanketed the ground.
we sat there laughing, content in our ignorance
(just for a while) about the corrupt government
and torn families
and fire
and bombs
and lost lives of people who sell themselves for their countries.
